Having trouble getting your Linksys RE6300 setup? Plug in and place the RE6300 near your router. First, try the WPS button method: on your router, press the WPS button, then on the RE6300 within two minutes. For those that don't go, use the setup wizard. Connect to the RE6300's Wi-Fi network default name should be found in its instructions. Open your web browser and type in 192.168.1.1 (or your default gateway). Then, you just have to follow the instructions displayed on the screen. If the setup page doesn't load, try changing the IP address settings. Make sure your router's DHCP server is enabled. Try resetting the RE6300 to its factory defaults by using the reset button and starting over. Update the firmware of your extender for best performance.
