If your QuickBooks payroll subscription is inactive, you won’t be able to process payroll, file taxes, or access direct deposit features. This can happen due to an expired subscription, outdated billing information, or software issues.

To reactivate your payroll, log into your Intuit Account, navigate to Billing & Subscription, and ensure your payment details are up to date. If needed, manually update QuickBooks by going to Help > Update QuickBooks Desktop > Get Updates, then restart the software.

If payroll is still inactive, refresh your subscription by selecting Employees > My Payroll Service > Account/Billing Information and signing in. Also, check firewall or antivirus settings, as they may block verification.

For immediate assistance with reactivation, troubleshooting, or billing issues, contact QuickBooks Support at 1-833-742-9500. Keeping your subscription active ensures uninterrupted payroll processing and compliance with tax regulations.
